If I purchase the Self-Guided Career Management Program, what happens at the end of my program?

Great news! By purchasing this website-based package, you now have lifelong access to career management resources! Access to the Self-Guided Career Management Program will begin when you log into the site with your protected registration code. You will receive this code upon purchase. After 12 months of using the site, some features will drop away but the full library of resources and the Right Job Opportunities job board will remain available to you lifelong. And these resources are continually updated & refreshed!

Do I get to talk with a coach if I purchase the Self-Guided Career Management Program?

Yes. Your purchase of the Self-Guided Program is a comprehensive one! It includes one hour with a career expert coach, in addition to all the updated, best practice tools & training in the website. You may use your coaching in a virtual 60 minute session or in two 30-minute sessions. Whatever works best for you. Our expert coaches work with you virtually using conference calls or WebEx. Additional coaching time may be purchased, if desired.

What if I only need a Résumé? Networking skills? Social Networking profile? Or something specific to my career needs?

Our Career Services are broken down into modular topical areas just for someone like you! If you prefer training done virtually, check out the 4 Career Topic Webinars. If you prefer to attend a training in person, check out the 5 on-campus class offerings. What do you mean by "registrants will receive a webinar recording good for 30 days?”

Once you have attended your webinar, you will have access to the recording of the webinar for the full 30 days.

How do I know when the webinars and classes are offered?

What if I need someone to develop my résumé?

Résumé development is one of our specialities! We help with your résumé in one of 4 different ways:

  • Enroll in the Résumés for Today’s Market course. Available as a webinar or on-campus class.
  • You may purchase the Self-Guided Career Management Resource package, which includes all the tools for résumé development and a lot more. Includes one hour of coaching.
  • You can purchase one-on-one time with an expert career coach. You can expect that résumé development will take 2-3 hours. Coaching includes action steps and content development, as well as “take-home” assignments between sessions. Your coach will be able to evaluate how much time you are going to need.

Are any of these classes available for me to receive credit?

No. These classes are designed for your personal development of career management skills.

Do UCSD-Extension instructors or professors teach any of the classes or webinars?

No. UCSD-Extension selected Right Management & Manpower as the instructors based on their depth of experience and track record of success in supporting professionals in career advancement.
